About the role

Responsibilities

  • Define talent needs by analyzing projected growth, team structure, and current talent trends.
  • Source and prescreen candidates.
  • Partner with hiring managers to ensure a smooth hiring process.
  • Identify closing strategies for offers and provide candidates with necessary information.
  • Build and maintain strong hiring manager/recruiter relationships.
  • Represent the company effectively to candidates in a competitive market.
  • Use creative strategies to build consistent candidate pipelines through sourcing, referrals, and inbound channels.

Requirements

  • Proven track record partnering with Engineering Leaders, ideally hiring for senior backend, fullstack, frontend engineers, and engineering leadership.
  • Strong ability to identify and engage qualified candidates across all channels.
  • Thrive in fast-paced, changing environments with ruthless prioritization.
  • Creative and resourceful problem-solving.

Nice-to-Haves

  • 3+ years of in-house recruiting experience (focus on impact over years).

Compensation

  • Salary: $150,000 - $220,000 USD per year (location independent).
  • Equity: ISO options with early exercise and 10-year post-termination exercise window.
