Principal Product Manager

Responsibilities

  • Own product strategy and execution for Redis Cloud capabilities serving enterprise customers, digital-native companies, and AI-native applications.
  • Define detailed product requirements with engineering and stakeholders, managing one or more product areas end to end.
  • Work directly with customers and internal stakeholders to understand pain points, validate priorities, and inform roadmap decisions.
  • Partner with sales, solutions, marketing, enablement, and customer success on launches, adoption, and business alignment.
  • Collaborate across distributed teams and global stakeholders to prioritize work, communicate trade-offs, and drive high-quality execution.
  • Act as an internal and external product evangelist, communicating customer value, product direction, and use cases.
  • Apply technical judgment to cloud infrastructure, modern application architectures, data platforms, and AI workloads.

Requirements

  • Product management experience with cloud platforms, data infrastructure, databases, developer platforms, or AI-related products.
  • Strong technical depth in storage, networking, and modern software development processes, including Agile practices and AI tools supporting product discovery, specification, iteration, and execution.
  • Ability to understand architecture trade-offs and translate them into product requirements in an AI-enabled software development lifecycle.
  • Understanding of AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure ecosystems, including infrastructure services, marketplace and procurement models, APIs, identity and access patterns, observability, and partner integrations.
  • Familiarity with cloud product lifecycles, including provisioning, upgrades, maintenance windows, reliability, operational readiness, supportability, and end-of-life considerations.
  • Strong product sense for enterprise and digital-native customers, with the ability to turn ambiguous input into requirements, prioritization decisions, and measurable outcomes.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
