Head of Travel Advisory and Community

Leads Navan’s UK enterprise travel advisory and customer advocacy strategy, supporting major deals, thought leadership, and the EMEA Customer Advisory Board. Requires 10+ years in travel, enterprise sales, or customer advisory, with deep knowledge of modern distribution and scaled travel programs.

Responsibilities

  • Drive customer and prospect events in collaboration with Sales and Marketing.
  • Align with EMEA Account Management and Customer Success teams on customer attendees.
  • Host or liaise with the executive team.
  • Lead Navan’s UK enterprise thought leadership on the future of corporate travel through industry presentations and published content.
  • Build customer advocacy and the travel community.
  • Partner with Sales, Account Management, and Product leadership from initial RFP through signed SOW and global rollout.
  • Support major UK enterprise pursuits by providing expert travel advisory to internal deal teams and prospective customers.
  • Serve as the trusted voice of the customer internally, informing product direction, sales strategy, and decision-making.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for Navan’s EMEA Customer Advisory Board (CAB).
  • Cultivate an engaged community of top customers that influences product direction, strengthens enterprise relationships, and accelerates strategic growth.
  • Drive CAB agenda creation, speaker selection, and measurable outcomes with Account Management, Customer Success, and Product teams.

Outcomes

  • Contribute measurably to the UK pipeline in the first year across deals ranging from $15M to $100M+ in Gross Booking Volume.
  • Increase enterprise win rates and reduce sales cycles through trusted advisory and deal strategy.
  • Expand the EMEA CAB program to influence product adoption, improve retention, and generate executive-level referrals.
  • Build market visibility and credibility as Navan’s UK travel spokesperson within the travel operations and procurement community.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in travel, enterprise sales, or customer advisory, ideally in SaaS, travel management, or enterprise services.
  • Executive-level communication and presence, with the ability to earn trust and influence among travel program leaders in Fortune 500, CAC 40, and/or FTSE 100 organizations.
  • Deep knowledge of the travel ecosystem, including modern distribution such as NDC, policy design, global travel programs, and implementation at scale.
  • Strategic operating ability to translate insights into scalable programs and repeatable outcomes.
  • Strong collaboration and leadership skills, with comfort working cross-functionally with executives, sales leaders, and product teams.
  • Experience shaping and influencing go-to-market strategies in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Passion for customer advocacy, with a track record of building strong customer communities and executive relationships.
