Strategic Account Manager

Manages and expands a portfolio of mid-market services sellers, advising them on payments, business management, and banking solutions in English and Spanish. Requires 5+ years in account management or sales, consultative selling expertise, and a record of strategic account growth and retention.

Responsibilities

  • Own and maintain relationships across a portfolio of approximately 175 mid-market services sellers.
  • Drive account expansion, retention, and seller satisfaction.
  • Advise business owners and operators in English and Spanish on payments, business management, and banking tools.
  • Identify cross-sell and use-case expansion opportunities and deliver customized seller onboarding.
  • Gather requirements and translate customer needs into scalable technical solutions.
  • Project-manage solution execution with cross-functional teams.
  • Advocate for seller needs with Product, Engineering, and Operations.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with senior stakeholders.
  • Provide white-glove client service and ensure seller issues are resolved.
  • Inform operations and program design for the segment at scale.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of account management or sales experience, ideally in SaaS, payments, or business management software.
  • Full proficiency in Spanish.
  • Proven success growing and retaining a book of business.
  • Consistent over-performance against key metrics and revenue targets.
  • Strong discovery and consultative selling skills.
  • Technical solutioning experience, including requirements gathering and translating customer needs into scalable solutions.
  • Demonstrated success retaining and expanding strategic accounts.
  • Experience negotiating contracts and pricing with senior stakeholders.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative, strategic problem-solving skills and ability to work in ambiguous environments.
  • Growth mindset, empathy, collaboration, and a positive team-oriented approach.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the services industry, including sports and entertainment, health and beauty, home services, or professional services.

Compensation

  • Base pay varies by U.S. location and market zone:
    • Zone A: $135,200–$202,800
    • Zone B: $125,800–$188,600
    • Zone C: $119,000–$178,400
    • Zone D: $108,200–$162,200
