Responsibilities
- Drive the execution of our external communications strategy in partnership with internal stakeholders including product and growth marketing, content, analyst relations and leadership teams.
- Work closely with external PR agency partners to craft and execute our communications strategy focusing on global top-tier business, tech, and security media across traditional and new media (Substack, podcasts, influencers).
- Grow and diversify our thought-leadership around topics of AI, security, trust in an agentic world, and the future of automation and uncover new channels to increase Vanta brand awareness.
- Integrate our first party data storytelling program (Trust Signals) into executive thought leadership, external messaging, and earned media coverage.
- Partner cross functionally on external events and brand marketing opportunities to amplify Vanta’s leadership in Agentic Trust.
- Develop and execute internal communications moments including monthly All Hands; internal newsletter for cross-company alignment; and more.
- Partner with Operations, Marketing and Leadership teams on a variety of operational efficiency initiatives aimed at improving how we work and communicate as a fast-growing global organization.
- Use AI with strong judgment and taste to scale our efforts and increase impact.
Requirements
- 10-12+ years of experience in Communications either in-house, agency or a combination of both.
- Deep new and traditional media relationships, strong writing skills, a finger on the pulse of AI/B2B/Security trends, and excitement to experiment with AI.
- All-around Comms rockstar with a passion for both external and internal communications initiatives.
- Self-starter who loves working across different teams in the company to drive alignment and clarity.
- Open to using AI to amplify their skills and strengthen their work - demonstrating curiosity, a willingness to learn, and sound judgment in applying AI responsibly to improve efficiency and impact.
