Key Responsibilities
- Be the strategist in the room with CIOs, COOs, and leadership teams on where AI changes their business, shaping technology and operating strategy.
- Understand the customer's business deeply: learn how they make money, identify frictions, and frame high-value problems ($100M+ impact) in their language.
- Translate executive conversations into real programs, mobilize Distyl’s engineers and researchers, and own outcomes against key metrics.
- Grow relationships from initial programs into multi-unit portfolios, building Distyl’s largest accounts (tens of millions annually).
- Earn long-term trust by prioritizing customer needs, even when it costs short-term.
- Align Distyl’s delivery, product, and research teams behind commitments and provide clear leadership updates.
Requirements
- 10-15+ years of experience in management consulting, operational/transformation leadership in large enterprises, or product leadership in enterprise technology companies.
- Track record as a trusted advisor to senior executives (CIOs, COOs, peers) at large enterprises.
- Experience standing up and delivering strategic agendas with $100M+ value impact, including shaping roadmaps, scoping/discovery, establishing ROI, and securing funding.
- Fluency in technology and business strategy; able to discuss architecture, P&L, and translate between them.
- Proven ability to turn strategic relationships into large, multi-year programs and grow them.
- Command of complex enterprise dynamics (procurement, security, legal, internal agendas).
- AI-native instincts: uses frontier AI tools personally and speaks credibly on business impact.
- Judgment to deliver hard truths to customers, including advising against purchases.
- History of leading large-scale enterprise programs and transformations with significant budgets.
