Responsibilities
- Design scalable, performant applications, systems, and infrastructure for large software projects using MongoDB.
- Guide customers on architecture patterns and optimization strategies for MongoDB and communicate business value to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with sales teams on account planning, opportunity prioritization and qualification, pipeline generation, technical discovery, demonstrations, proofs of value, presentations, sizing, and documentation.
- Generate demand through technical initiatives, industry trade shows, and account-based marketing events.
- Build strong customer relationships, develop champions, and support customer success and satisfaction.
- Improve MongoDB solutions and processes by relaying field feedback to the product team.
- Mentor other Solutions Consulting team members.
- Participate in ongoing product and professional development.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of related industry experience, ideally including 2 years in a customer-facing role.
- At least 2 years of professional experience with modern scripting or programming languages, such as Python, Node.js, SQL, C/C++, Java, or C#.
- Experience implementing scalable, highly available distributed systems in cloud and on-premises environments.
- Experience reviewing complex application architectures and advising customers on improvements.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to explain complex technical and business concepts to technical and business leadership.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional sales teams throughout the full deal cycle.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Fluency in written and spoken German.

- Experience developing, deploying, or supporting applications with major cloud providers.

Compensation and benefits
- Base salary range: 235000–348000.
