Responsibilities
- Collaborate with sales and field engineering teams to accelerate customer adoption and growth of the Databricks platform.
- Lead post-technical-win account strategy and execution for Databricks use cases in strategic accounts.
- Serve as the accountable technical leader across multiple use cases, selling teams, and internal stakeholders, driving onboarding, enablement, success, go-live, and healthy workload consumption.
- Act as the first contact for technical issues and production or go-live questions for agreed-upon use cases.
- Coordinate Shared Services, User Education, Onboarding, Technical Services, Support, and expert technical resources.
- Create and execute plans to accelerate key use cases into production, coordinating with Professional Services on engagement proposals.
- Navigate Product and Engineering teams for product innovations, private previews, and upgrade needs.
- Develop execution plans covering production migration, enablement and user growth, product adoption, cloud cost control, tuning and optimization, and executive and operational governance.
- Provide internal and external KPI updates on usage, customer health, investment status, risks, product adoption, and use-case progression.
- Travel up to 30% when needed.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience accountable for technical project or program delivery in Data and AI, with the ability to contribute to technical debates and design decisions with customers.
- Programming experience in Python, SQL, or Scala.
- Experience in customer-facing pre-sales, technical architecture, customer success, or consulting.
- Understanding of solution architecture for distributed data systems.
- Ability to attribute business value and outcomes to project deliverables.
- Experience with technical program or project management, including account, stakeholder, and resource management.
- Experience resolving complex escalations with senior customer executives.
- Experience conducting open-ended discovery workshops, creating strategic roadmaps, performing business analysis, and managing complex programs or projects.
- Track record of overachievement against quota, goals, or similar targets.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
Compensation
- Base salary range: $180,000–$247,500 USD.
- Compensation may include an annual performance bonus, equity, and benefits.
