Own product direction for Schemas, Benchling's codeless data modeling layer. Set vision for platform primitives and ship incrementally while ensuring stability for admins and developers building on top.

Responsibilities
- Lead product management for the Schemas team
- Engage with customers, internal teams, and field teams to understand problems-to-solve and use cases
- Set the vision for Schemas to accelerate development among internal teams
- Empower scientists, admins, and computational teams to turn their data into an AI-ready structured data foundation for the R&D lifecycle
- Ship well-crafted products at a timely pace through rapid prototyping and incremental delivery while maintaining platform stability
- Collaborate closely with Engineering and Design to develop new product capabilities
- Partner with Customer Experience, Marketing, and Sales
Requirements
- 6+ years of product management experience
- Ability to think in systems and understand customer impact across product aspects
- Demonstrated ability to set long-term vision and ship incrementally
- Experience providing technical solutions to internal developers and external customers
- Ability to explain technical concepts to customers and executive leadership
- Experience setting direction and influencing stakeholders
- Past experience working with data modeling or databases required
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience in B2B SaaS or Developer Platform industries
- Strong curiosity around science processes that power the R&D lifecycle
