This customer-facing architect advises strategic customers, demonstrates AI infrastructure and software, and helps deliver generative AI solutions using open-source models. The role requires 7+ years of technical experience, pre-sales expertise, and strong knowledge of AI, GPUs, HPC, and infrastructure tooling.

Responsibilities
- Act as a technical advisor to strategic customers, supporting the ideation and development of applications using open-source models on Together AI.
- Run complex demonstrations and proofs of concept for Together AI’s hardware and software stack.
- Collaborate with sales to qualify prospects and support customers building generative AI solutions.
- Build and maintain relationships with customer leadership and stakeholders to support successful application deployment and scaling.
- Provide feedback to Product, Engineering, and Research teams to improve the platform.
- Create educational content and tooling, including playbooks, blogs, and demos, for internal and external use.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role, including at least 2 years in a pre-sales function.
- Demonstrable experience building and delivering technical solutions in a solutions consulting or pre-sales environment.
- Experience with open-source models, ideally for inference-driven use cases.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to map customer business needs to technical solutions.
- Strong knowledge of AI, machine learning, GPU technologies, and their integration into high-performance computing environments.
- Understanding of training, fine-tuning, and inference for open-source large language models.
- Proficiency in Python and JavaScript, including building prototypes on API platforms.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, SLURM, Ansible, Docker, scripting, and programming languages.
- Strong ownership, adaptability, project management, and prioritization skills.
