Leads and scales Flagright’s global BDR function, managing a distributed team while owning hiring, coaching, outbound process, forecasting, and cross-functional sales alignment. Requires 5+ years in B2B SaaS business or sales development and at least 2 years managing BDR/SDR teams.

Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a distributed team of four BDRs across multiple regions, with accountability for activity, conversion, and pipeline targets.
- Own BDR hiring end to end, including profile definition, sourcing, interviewing, onboarding, and ramping.
- Support the outbound playbook, including ICP and account segmentation, multichannel sequences, persona- and region-specific messaging, and qualification standards.
- Design territory and vertical coverage for a coordinated global team.
- Run forecasting and reporting on pipeline generation; present performance insights to founders.
- Partner with Sales and Marketing on handoffs, SLAs, campaign follow-up, and frontline feedback.
- Establish the culture, habits, standards, and energy of a high-performing outbound team.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in business development or sales development in B2B SaaS.
- 2+ years managing BDR or SDR teams.
- Experience at a startup or scale-up with fewer than 200 employees.
- Experience managing remote or geographically distributed teams across time zones.
- Track record of hiring and rapidly ramping BDRs.
- Strong command of modern outbound prospecting, sales engagement platforms, CRM systems, and data-driven pipeline management.
- Builder’s mindset and comfort with ambiguity, first-principles thinking, and imperfect processes.
- Willingness and ability to sell directly and stay close to customer conversations.
- Excellent written and spoken English.

- Experience selling into regulated industries such as fintech, compliance, or financial services.
- Previous founding or first-manager role at a startup.
- Experience opening new geographic markets.
