  • Lead product marketing strategy across the SimplePractice portfolio, including positioning, messaging, customer segmentation, product launches, lifecycle GTM strategy, competitive intelligence, and adoption programs.
  • Partner deeply with the Chief Product Officer and Product leadership to shape product strategy, roadmap priorities, market opportunities, customer needs, and commercialization plans.
  • Build integrated go-to-market strategies that align Product, Marketing, Growth, Brand, Customer Success, Finance, Data, Sales, and Operations around clear customer and business outcomes.
  • Develop compelling product narratives that communicate SimplePractice’s value to private practice owners, clinicians, and the broader healthcare ecosystem.
  • Establish a scalable product launch discipline, including launch tiering, readiness planning, enablement, measurement, and post-launch optimization.

  • Lead complex pricing initiatives from strategy through execution, including pricing research, packaging design, customer impact analysis, revenue modeling, internal readiness, market rollout, communication strategy, and performance measurement.
  • Develop pricing strategies that balance customer value, competitive positioning, revenue growth, margin strength, and long-term monetization opportunity. In particular, create a clear roadmap for future pricing of AI products that drives adoption and maximizes revenue while also building trust and partnership with private practice owners and clinicians.
  • Bring deep experience in SaaS pricing, willingness-to-pay research, value metrics, packaging architecture, and pricing change management.
  • Create clear executive-level recommendations on pricing and packaging decisions grounded in data, customer insight, competitive context, and business strategy.

AI Strategy & Commercialization

  • Develop go-to-market strategies that make AI practical, understandable, and valuable for private practice owners and clinicians, while addressing the trust, privacy, and sensitivity required in healthcare-adjacent settings.

Market Research, Customer Insight & Competitive Strategy

  • Lead the market research function and ensure SimplePractice has a rigorous understanding of customers, prospects, competitors, category trends, buying behavior, and emerging opportunities.
  • Develop research programs that inform segmentation, positioning, product strategy, pricing, messaging, brand strategy, and growth initiatives.
  • Build a strong voice-of-customer discipline that captures the needs, motivations, anxieties, and workflows of independent mental health practitioners and work together with other sources of customer input to build a coherent narrative of customer needs.
  • Synthesize research and data into actionable insights for Product, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Executive Leadership.

Team & Executive Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and scale a high-performing team across product marketing, pricing strategy, and market research.
  • Build a team culture defined by strategic rigor, strong execution, customer obsession, analytical depth, creativity, accountability, and cross-functional partnership.
  • Bring strong AI fluency to the product marketing function, including how the team uses AI to improve productivity, insight generation, experimentation, and GTM execution.
  • Serve as a key member of the go-to-market leadership team and contribute to broader company strategy, planning, and performance management.
  • Operate effectively with senior executives and private equity stakeholders, influencing decisions with clarity, confidence, data, and sound judgment.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience leading product marketing across a broad product portfolio in a product-led growth environment.
  • Deep experience in pricing, packaging, monetization strategy, and complex pricing transformations.
  • Demonstrated success launching major pricing changes, new packaging models, or monetization systems in-market.
  • Experience serving SMB customers is strongly preferred.
  • Healthcare, healthtech, wellness, fintech, payments, or other regulated or sensitive-category experience is a significant plus.
  • Strong experience partnering directly with Product and Product leadership to shape product strategy, roadmap priorities, and go-to-market plans.
  • Experience leading market research, customer insights, competitive intelligence, or voice-of-customer functions.
  • Strong fluency in AI, including experience commercializing AI-enabled products and applying AI to improve team productivity and GTM execution.
  • Experience operating in a scaled, profitable, private equity-backed, or highly metrics-driven business environment is highly valuable.
  • Prior experience managing managers and building high-performing teams.

Required Skills & Leadership Capabilities

  • Strategic product marketing leadership across positioning, messaging, segmentation, launches, lifecycle marketing, and portfolio strategy.
  • Deep pricing and monetization expertise, including packaging strategy, value metrics, pricing research, revenue modeling, and pricing change execution.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data, research, and business metrics into clear strategic recommendations.
  • Exceptional executive communication and influencing skills.
  • Strong customer empathy, especially for SMB owners, practitioners, clinicians, or professionals managing complex day-to-day workflows.
  • Ability to translate complex products and technical capabilities into clear, differentiated, customer-centered value propositions.
  • High business acumen, including understanding of revenue growth, EBITDA, margin, LTV, CAC, churn, retention, expansion, and monetization dynamics.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership across Product, Marketing, Growth, Customer Success, Finance, Analytics, Sales, Operations, and Executive Leadership.
