IT Operations - Workplace Intern
Supports onsite workplace IT operations, including end-user support, hardware and asset management, JumpCloud MDM administration, meeting-room technology, and basic automation. The internship is suited to an IT student with strong communication skills and an interest in hardware troubleshooting.

Responsibilities
- Provide first-line support for hardware, workplace IT, and basic laptop software issues.
- Troubleshoot laptops, peripherals, connectivity, and common user problems.
- Assist employees with day-to-day IT needs in the office.
- Support onboarding and offboarding, including device preparation and user assistance.
- Manage the IT equipment lifecycle, including preparation, wiping, cleaning, recycling, and resale.
- Track device inventory, organize IT stock, and ensure equipment is ready to use.
- Support procurement and logistics as needed.
- Contribute to administration of the JumpCloud MDM solution, including device enrollment, checks, troubleshooting, reporting, groups, and policies.
- Maintain device configuration standards.
- Maintain and support meeting-room equipment, including video conferencing systems, cabling, screens, and audio equipment.
- Ensure office IT setups are functional, including desks, printers, and basic network access.
- Improve IT processes and user experience; document procedures, configurations, and user guides.
- Help maintain application installation scripts and contribute to small automation tasks.
- Support rollout of new IT tools and solutions.
Requirements
- Currently studying IT or a related technical field.
- Comfortable with everyday IT tools and environments.
- Strong willingness to help users and communicate effectively.
- Dynamic, autonomous, reliable, curious, organized, and motivated to learn.
- Interest in hardware troubleshooting and workplace IT.
- Comfortable with spoken and written English.
Nice-to-haves
- Basic understanding of MDM tools such as JumpCloud or equivalent.
