Deal Desk Analyst
The Deal Desk Analyst evaluates deal economics, builds financial models, and manages quote-to-contract workflows for standard and non-standard agreements. The role requires strong analytical skills, advanced spreadsheet modeling, and at least two years of relevant finance or Deal Desk experience.

Responsibilities
- Analyze deal economics for standard and non-standard agreements, including pricing, discounting, term length, usage commitments, and gross margin impact.
- Partner with Sales to structure commercially sound deals aligned with financial guardrails.
- Build, maintain, and review financial models and pricing scenarios for non-standard deal requests and leadership approvals.
- Own the end-to-end Deal Desk workflow in Salesforce/CPQ, including quote building, pricing approvals, Order Form creation, DocuSign execution, and opportunity closure.
- Maintain data integrity and policy compliance.
- Collaborate with Commercial Legal, Billing Operations, Corporate Finance, and Sales to streamline deal velocity.
- Educate Sales and GTM teams on contracting policies, approval matrices, and discount governance.
- Work with Sales and Legal on non-standard Order Form language in accordance with risk and revenue recognition policies.
- Identify recurring deal patterns, approval exceptions, operational friction, and workflow improvement opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree plus at least 2 years of experience in Corporate Finance, FP&A, Commercial Finance, or an analytical GTM/Deal Desk role; without a degree, at least 4 years of relevant analytical experience.
- Strong analytical and financial skills with an understanding of core financial concepts.
- Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills, including financial modeling, logic formulas, and scenario analysis.
- Ability to manage multiple high-velocity requests while remaining organized and detail-oriented.
- Self-starter with a high-integrity, collaborative approach.

- Experience with Salesforce, Tableau, CLM, and Jira.
Compensation and benefits
- Estimated pay range: CAD $68,160.00–CAD $85,200.00.
- Target bonus: 10%, when applicable.
