Events Lead
Leads the company’s global events strategy, team, budget, operating model, and flagship event portfolio. The role requires experience scaling events functions, managing multimillion-dollar budgets, aligning programs to revenue, and influencing executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities
- Define and own the overall flagship events strategy and portfolio.
- Build, hire, lead, and develop the events team.
- Own and allocate the global events budget, including forecasting, prioritization, reconciliation, and ROI measurement.
- Set the annual events calendar and planning process across flagship programs and conferences.
- Establish the events operating model, including standards, playbooks, production quality, and measurement frameworks.
- Manage agency and vendor relationships, including master service agreements.
- Provide executive oversight for user conferences, Sales Kickoff, President’s Club, and Tier-1 industry conferences such as AWS re:Invent.
- Partner with Marketing, Brand, Sales Enablement, People, Finance, Legal, and Executive Leadership.
- Ensure events strengthen the brand and drive measurable business outcomes.
- Travel for onsite production and event execution.
Requirements
- Experience building and leading an events function at a high-growth company, including hiring, managing, and developing teams.
- Proven experience owning a portfolio of flagship events and managing multiple concurrent programs and stakeholders.
- Experience managing multimillion-dollar events budgets, including allocation, forecasting, and ROI measurement.
- Track record of aligning events with pipeline, revenue, and company priorities in partnership with Sales and Marketing leadership.
- Experience negotiating with and managing agencies, production companies, venues, and strategic vendors at scale.
- Strong leadership, cross-functional influence, and executive communication skills.
- Willingness to travel significantly for onsite event production and execution.
