Responsibilities

  • Drive development and innovation of core healthcare data products.
  • Partner with engineers to shape product strategy, execution, and technical tradeoffs.
  • Work with product leadership and commercial teams to document use cases, define requirements, create evaluation criteria, and deliver high-value analyses on time.
  • Own day-to-day sprint management and improve team efficiency.
  • Coordinate cross-functional collaboration and share knowledge across the organization.
  • Lead customer discovery and develop evidence-based product opportunities.
  • Ship improvements to core data products and validate new products or significant enhancements.
  • Build a prioritized, evidence-backed backlog trusted by stakeholders.
  • Serve as a thought partner to Data Engineering and commercial teams.

Requirements

  • Experience in a data-focused role at a B2B technology or software company; prior product management experience is strongly preferred.
  • Technical depth, including the ability to write and understand SQL, reason about data models and pipelines, and engage engineers on tradeoffs.
  • Working knowledge of statistical data analysis and the judgment to identify misuse.
  • Experience with U.S. healthcare data and understanding of life sciences use cases.
  • Ability to investigate ambiguous data and systems problems, decompose goals into actionable work, and define clear quality criteria.
  • Strong customer empathy and ability to translate customer understanding into precise product requirements.
  • Fluency with AI tools for dataset exploration, prototyping, requirements development, and critical reasoning.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Annual base pay of $162,000–$252,000 USD, depending on geographic location. San Francisco Bay Area and New York City: $186,000–$252,000; all other U.S. locations: $162,000–$219,000.
  • Potential performance-based bonus and equity awards.
