Delivery Engineer II

Leads post-sales onboarding, data health, and technical adoption for strategic Mixpanel customers. The role combines data architecture, analytics implementation, project delivery, and AI workflow consulting across customer engineering, product, and marketing teams.

Responsibilities

  • Own onboarding and data health for strategic and high-value clients, including data quality enhancements and technology-stack integration.
  • Align with pre-sales teams and consult with prospects and clients to define business goals, metrics, data architecture, and project outcomes.
  • Engage engineering, product management, and marketing stakeholders on technical onboarding, deployment optimization, and data trust.
  • Deliver technical services including data architecture consultation, adoption support, and change-management best practices.
  • Create scalable data governance practices, optimize data, and execute reimplementation projects.
  • Manage deliverables, project timelines, scope, and unexpected issues.
  • Collaborate with technical and solutions partners on data optimization and onboarding projects.
  • Sponsor internal engagements with product and engineering teams to prioritize client-driven work.
  • Build AI automations and advise customers on integrating agentic workflows with Mixpanel data.

Requirements

  • Experience querying, modeling, and transforming data with at least one of SQL, dbt, Python, business intelligence tools, or product analytics tools.
  • Familiarity with databases and cloud data warehouses such as Google Cloud, Amazon Redshift, and Microsoft Azure.
  • Familiarity with product analytics implementation methods including SDKs, customer data platforms, event streaming, and reverse ETL.
  • Knowledge of analytics best practices across business segments and verticals.
  • Experience managing complex projects with multiple client stakeholders, scope, and timelines.
  • Experience embedding AI into workflows, using MCP servers, building skills, and setting context.
  • Experience in customer success, client-facing professional services, consulting, or technical project management.
  • Excellent written, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Strong process and project delivery discipline.
  • Ability to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving customer needs.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Total target cash compensation: $108,500–$146,500 USD, including base and variable compensation.
