Owns competitive intelligence and solutions marketing for an AI and developer-tools company, creating research, battlecards, positioning, and field content. Responsibilities
- Own the competitive landscape across AI platforms, developer tools, and software creation.
- Maintain the company’s view of competitive strengths and vulnerabilities.
- Build and maintain battlecards, talk tracks, and customer-facing comparisons for sales and customer success.
- Assess competitor launches, update positioning, and provide guidance to the field.
- Design and run the competitive operating model, including monitoring, alerts, research cadence, refresh cycles, and a trusted single source of truth.
- Create sales assets, pitch narratives, and persona content for solutions marketing.
- Ensure external competitive claims are sourced, verified, and customer-safe.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in competitive intelligence, market intelligence, product marketing, strategy, consulting, or a related field at a B2B SaaS, developer tools, or AI company.
- Strong understanding of the AI and software creation landscape.
- Experience producing competitive and sales-facing content used in live deals and under tight deadlines.
- Experience turning competitive analysis into recommendations adopted by leadership.
- High standards for accuracy, including sourcing, dating, and verifying claims.
- Ability to write precisely for technical and executive audiences.
- English-language communication skills.
