Responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders on key initiatives and mitigate legal and compliance risks.
- Investigate and address employee relations concerns.
- Execute decisions within established policies and create solutions that enhance employee experience.
- Participate in organizational design, restructures, role repurposing, process changes, and joint venture integrations.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on FMLA, CFRA, state-protected and personal leaves, including tracking, eligibility, and return-to-work timelines.
- Manage reasonable accommodation and leave requests, coordinating return-to-work and transitional work plans.
- Coach employees and managers on policies, communication, development, performance management, counseling, career development, and disciplinary actions.
- Partner with functional teams and People colleagues to deliver integrated solutions, identify key talent segments, and support pivotal roles.
- Use metrics, analytics, and employee lifecycle data to inform talent management strategies and organizational decisions.
- Execute change management strategies supporting business evolution.
- Conduct stay and exit interviews for store leadership, analyze trends, and recommend actions.
- Lead and design specialized training programs with People Team centers of expertise.
- Assist with developing, implementing, and maintaining HR policies and procedures.
