Senior IT Systems Engineer
Systems Engineer responsible for evolving IT infrastructure with focus on identity & access management, endpoint management, security, compliance, and enterprise email deliverability using AWS, Okta, and automation platforms.

Responsibilities
- Identify and solve team, organisational, and business automation and integration problems
- Design, build, and own efficient and easy-to-maintain automations and integrations that address challenges and improve posture in identity & access management, endpoint management, security, compliance and enterprise email deliverability
- Take part in high-impact cross-organisational projects to integrate, expand, and evolve corporate IT infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on infrastructure-as-code
- Govern and promote automation and AI adoption through enablement and education
- Take part in and drive bleeding edge AI tools as beta testers
- Drive IT incident response in concert with other InfoSec and engineering teams
- Integrate and utilise AI tooling and continuously drive automated no-code infrastructure via tools such as Tines and Workato
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to challenge assumptions by making data-driven discoveries
- Strong track record of coaching junior teammates and setting the bar for team standards
- Good knowledge of a high-level programming language (e.g. Ruby, Python, Perl)
- Experience building and operating systems in the cloud without a traditional corporate network perimeter
- Experience with AWS, Okta, Google Workspace, Jamf Pro, Intune, Tines and Workato
Nice to Have
- Experience building robust, scalable integrations between billing and an ERP system, preferably Netsuite
- Experience with iPaaS platforms and enterprise email deliverability
