Responsibilities
- Own Viz.ai’s strategic partnership, ecosystem, and inorganic strategy, identifying capability and portfolio gaps that partnerships can fill.
- Build and manage a pipeline of prospective partners, evaluating strategic and commercial fit and developing business cases for internal decision-making and executive alignment.
- Structure and negotiate distribution, licensing, data-sharing, co-marketing, technology integration, and potentially M&A arrangements from term sheet through definitive agreement.
- Partner with Product, Clinical, Sales, Legal, and Finance to evaluate opportunities and ensure partnerships are integrated and commercialized successfully.
- Manage ongoing partnerships and relationships with key partner stakeholders after signature.
- Embed partnerships into product strategies and go-to-market motions.
- Track market trends and competitive landscapes across AI, health tech, and adjacent ecosystems.
- Report partnership pipeline, deal status, and ecosystem performance to executive leadership and the Board.
- Represent Viz.ai externally and build durable partner relationships.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or corporate development, ideally in health tech, medtech, or health IT.
- Track record of sourcing, negotiating, and closing complex commercial partnership agreements that contributed to measurable revenue growth.
- Experience managing an external partner ecosystem after deal completion.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills across Product, Clinical, Sales, and Legal.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and executive-presence skills.
- Comfortable representing the company externally and briefing senior leadership and the Board.
- Self-directed and effective in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
- MBA or equivalent experience.
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual compensation range: $210,107–$242,000.
