Advisory Partner Solutions Architect
This partner-focused Solutions Architect designs scalable application, data, and AI architectures, develops joint solutions, and supports complex technical sales opportunities across India. Responsibilities
- Design scalable, secure, and high-performing application, data, and AI architectures using MongoDB Atlas for customer- and partner-led solutions.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor to partners, sellers, and customers through architecture reviews, modernization strategies, and deployment decisions across cloud and hybrid environments.
- Lead complex partner and ecosystem opportunities through technical discovery, solution mapping, demonstrations, proofs of value, sizing, and technical documentation.
- Build joint partner offerings, integration patterns, quick starts, workshops, demonstrations, and reference architectures with hyperscalers, ISVs, and strategic ecosystem partners.
- Create reusable field assets, including demonstrations, presentations, sample architectures, workshops, and technical guidance.
- Advise on AI application patterns such as RAG, vector search, agentic workflows, and partner ecosystem integrations.
- Support field and partner teams with implementation guidance, technical objections, and practical workarounds.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and partner teams to relay field feedback and improve integrations and partner experiences.
- Partner with account teams on territory and account planning, opportunity qualification, pipeline generation, and technical win strategy.
- Represent MongoDB through customer workshops, partner sessions, industry events, and thought leadership content.
- Mentor peers and share repeatable best practices across the Solutions Consulting organization.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in customer-facing technical roles, including pre-sales, consulting, partner, or solutions architecture experience in enterprise software.
- Experience navigating complex sales cycles and aligning technical and business stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience with modern application development, data platforms, or cloud-native systems, including a scripting or programming language such as Python, JavaScript, Java, C#, or SQL.
- Experience designing distributed systems in cloud and hybrid environments, with knowledge of scalability, resilience, and security.
- Ability to translate technical architecture into business value for executives, architects, developers, and partners.
- Experience with hyperscaler partnerships, ISV integrations, AI/ML applications, data engineering, platform modernization, or developer platforms.
- Ability to create technical assets, lead workshops, and enable field teams with reusable content and patterns.
- Strong presentation, communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
- Familiarity with modern sales methodologies and collaboration with sales leadership.
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
