Provides post-sales architecture leadership for strategic customers, guiding Databricks data, analytics, and AI use cases from development through production. Responsibilities
- Serve as the Databricks architect for customer technical teams, guiding use cases and data products from development through go-live.
- Address technical challenges and blockers with architecture guidance, best practices, and enablement.
- Lead post-technical-win account strategy and execution for Databricks use cases in strategic accounts.
- Act as the internal point of contact for production and go-live status across multiple customer use cases.
- Coordinate Shared Services, User Education, Onboarding, Technical Services, Support, Professional Services, Product, and Engineering resources.
- Create and execute plans to accelerate key use cases into production.
- Present new product innovations, private previews, and upgrade options to customers.
- Report on usage, customer health, risks, blockers, product adoption, and use-case progression.
- Build trusted relationships with technical and executive stakeholders and support customer growth.
- Travel up to 30%.
Requirements
- Programming experience with PySpark, Python, and Databricks or a similar data platform.
- Understanding and hands-on experience with solution architecture for distributed data and analytics systems.
- 5+ years of experience accountable for delivery of Data, Analytics, or AI projects, including participation in technical debates and design decisions with customers.
- Experience in customer-facing pre-sales, technical architecture, customer success, or consulting roles.
- Ability to connect business value and outcomes to project deliverables.
- Experience with technical program coordination, account management, and stakeholder management.
- Experience resolving complex escalations with senior customer technical stakeholders.
- Track record of overachievement against quota, goals, or similar objectives.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
