Demo Environment Operations Manager
Leads and supports a team responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing demonstration environments for sales and marketing initiatives. The role combines people management, cross-functional event delivery, cloud and container engineering, scripting, integrations, and operational improvement.

Responsibilities
- Directly manage, mentor, and evaluate Demo Engineers.
- Monitor team bandwidth, assign incoming work, and ensure engineers have the tools and support needed to succeed.
- Develop best practices, standards, and guidelines for creating, maintaining, and managing demo-environment scenarios.
- Track operational metrics such as ticket volume, fulfillment times, and request types to identify pain points and optimize operations.
- Partner with Product teams on the long-term demo roadmap and strategy; evaluate feasibility, develop innovative capabilities, and architect scalable solutions.
- Collaborate with Product Engineering, Sales Engineering, Product Marketing, and executive leadership to define deliverables and timelines for critical demonstrations.
- Resolve demo requests hands-on and perform senior engineering responsibilities as needed.
- Design, build, script, and configure demo environments, sample datasets, and cross-product integrations.
- Develop and lead escalations with cross-functional teams when required.
Requirements
- 3 years of experience leading technical teams or managing technical operations, ideally in Sales Engineering, Technical Support, or DevOps environments.
- 5 years of hands-on experience with cloud platforms, API integrations, containerization, and modern web stacks.
- Experience with AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Experience scripting with Python, Bash, or JavaScript for environment setup and automated testing.
- Experience leading cross-functional delivery teams for corporate events, product launches, or software releases.

Compensation and Benefits
- Full-time compensation includes base salary, bonus, equity, and benefits.
- US base salary range: $163,000–$223,000 USD.
- Applicants must have the legal right to work in the country where the position is based; visa sponsorship is not offered.
