Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and grow a high-performing engineering team; hire strategically and raise the engineering bar.
- Drive delivery across a multi-quarter roadmap covering reporting infrastructure, enterprise reporting, AI-powered insights, and scalable data foundations.
- Define the long-term vision and architecture for reporting and data-driven product experiences with Product and engineering partners.
- Navigate ambiguous, evolving problem spaces while balancing near-term customer impact with long-term platform investments.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, Platform, and business stakeholders on reporting strategy and enterprise data capabilities.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional experience in a full-time engineering management role.
- Proven experience managing 8–12+ engineers.
- Experience managing product engineering teams building reporting or data visualization products.
- Strong technical depth, ideally with prior senior- or staff-level engineering experience.
- Ability to guide data infrastructure and product architecture decisions.
- Track record of delivering results across multiple workstreams while maintaining quality and team velocity.
- Experience setting product and technical strategy with Product and Design teams.
- Experience driving engineering-wide initiatives.
- Strong decision-making, communication, storytelling, and cross-functional influence skills.
- Curiosity and sound judgment in applying AI responsibly to improve efficiency and impact.
