What You'll Do
- Build & Shape the Finance Systems Function: Define the structure and vision for a high-performing Finance Systems function, including roles, responsibilities, and growth paths.
- Create Scalable Solutions: Define, build, and optimize processes, methodologies, and tools for NetSuite and other finance systems, including standards for configuration, data management, integrations, and reporting.
- Implement Best Practices: Establish and enforce best practices for system configuration, data integrity, user management, security, testing, and deployment.
- Manage Technical Resources: Guide internal or external technical resources delivering NetSuite SuiteScript development, API integrations, and other technical requirements.
- Foster a Data-Driven Culture within Finance: Advocate for data-driven insights, ensuring the Finance team has necessary data for reporting, analysis, and decision-making.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years managing or leading projects within finance systems in a fast-paced, growth environment.
- 5+ years experience with core finance systems, with deep knowledge of General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Order Management, and Procurement.
- Significant hands-on experience with NetSuite configuration, administration, and ideally SuiteScript and integrations.
- Strong understanding of system integrations, data flows; ability to translate functional requirements into technical specifications.
- Experience implementing new finance systems or scaling existing ones.
- Ability to define long-term vision while executing tactical changes; balance strategic thinking with hands-on work.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams (Accounting, Engineering, Operations).
- Experience designing and implementing processes for rigor, consistency, and efficiency.
Bonus Points
- Experience in mid-sized high-growth companies.
- NetSuite Administrator certification.
- Experience in a manufacturing company.
- Experience with other finance systems for Procure-to-Pay, Order to Cash, and Record to Report.
