Technical Architect
Technical Architect teaches engineering organizations and enterprise administrators to adopt Claude Code, lead successful rollouts, and deploy AI responsibly. The role combines hands-on software engineering, technical education, customer workshops, large-scale presentations, and 30–50% travel.

Responsibilities
- Deliver public webinars, customer workshops, multi-day onsite and virtual sessions, office hours, and multi-week cohorts for engineers, partners, and account teams.
- Run train-the-trainer programs and certify customer technologists and champions to deliver Anthropic material.
- Educate enterprise administrators on single sign-on, permissions, connectors, spend controls, data-handling policies, and other rollout requirements.
- Build polished presentations, demo repositories, and plugins quickly using Claude Code and related tools.
- Explore new product features and deliver inherited technical material effectively.
- Communicate customer issues and feedback to Claude Code, Claude Tag, Cowork, and product teams.
- Partner with account executives, customer success managers, Applied AI Architects, support engineers, and partner leads.
- Travel 30–50% for onsite sessions, workshops, and events.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a software engineer, solutions architect, developer advocate, or similar.
- Current software engineering experience, including shipping production code and teaching engineering audiences.
- Ability to engage deeply with senior engineers across the technology stack.
- Experience using Claude Code or a similar agentic development tool.
- Experience presenting to large live audiences and adapting to last-minute changes.
- Strong communication, customer empathy, initiative, adaptability, and comfort with ambiguity.
- Interest in responsible AI deployment.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Nice-to-haves
- Enterprise identity and security review experience, including SAML, OIDC, SCIM, SOC 2, or HIPAA.
- Experience running Claude on Amazon Bedrock or Google Cloud Vertex AI.
- Experience with regulated industries or systems-integrator partners.
- Public technical teaching through talks, courses, videos, or writing.
Compensation
- Annual compensation: $250,000–$365,000 USD.
