Responsibilities
- Partner with Account Executives to understand startup requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and advise customers from evaluation through deployment and expansion.
- Lead technical evaluations and help startups develop evaluation frameworks for their use cases.
- Build credibility with founders and engineering teams while guiding technical architecture decisions.
- Identify emerging startup use cases and deployment patterns and provide feedback to Product and Engineering.
- Travel to customer sites, startup-focused events, and industry conferences for workshops, technical deep dives, and relationship building.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in technical customer-facing roles such as Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, Forward Deployed Engineer, or technical founder with founder-led sales experience.
- Experience working with startups or high-growth technology companies.
- Software engineering or technical founder background with strong builder credibility.
- Technical proficiency in building and scaling AI products and knowledge of AI engineering best practices.
- Hands-on experience building and deploying LLM-powered applications in production.
- Expertise in context engineering, evaluation frameworks, and modern AI architectures.
- Strong technical communication skills and ability to translate complex AI concepts into actionable insights.
- Track record of selling technical products in competitive markets.
- Python proficiency and familiarity with common LLM frameworks, tools, and integration patterns.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Compensation
- Annual on-target earnings range: $240,000–$315,000 USD, including target sales commissions or bonuses and base salary.
