Marketing Intern

Growth marketing intern owning social media, content creation, growth loops, and automations at a voice AI startup. Requires proven track record of building online presence or side projects with strong writing and scrappy mindset.

About the job

What You Will Do

  • Own and grow Phonely's social media presence across platforms
  • Create content that people actually want to engage with, not filler
  • Build and test growth loops, automations, and distribution hacks
  • Experiment with new channels and tactics, measure what works, kill what does not
  • Collaborate with the team on launch campaigns, product announcements, and brand storytelling
  • Find creative ways to get Phonely in front of our target audience without just throwing money at ads
  • Track performance and report on what is moving the needle

What You Will Bring

  • You have built or grown something online, whether that is your own following, a brand's social presence, a newsletter, a community, or a side project that got real traction. Show us the receipts.
  • You think like a builder, not a task-taker. You see a problem and you figure out how to solve it, even if nobody told you how.
  • You have started something, been in an entrepreneurship club, launched a project, freelanced, or otherwise put yourself out there and hustled.
  • You have ideas for marketing automation and are not afraid to hack tools together to make things work.
  • You are scrappy, resourceful, and a little relentless. You do not wait for permission.
  • Strong writing skills. You can communicate clearly and you know what sounds good.

Bonus Points

  • You have grown a social account past 10K+ followers organically
  • You have built automations using tools like Zapier, Make, n8n, or written scripts to streamline marketing workflows
  • You have run a small business, sold something online, or otherwise made money from your own hustle
  • You have experience with short-form video content (TikTok, Reels, Shorts)
