Enablement Manager, Partners

Leads the strategy and execution of scalable enablement programs for Gusto’s channel partner ecosystem, including onboarding, education, certification, and performance resources. The role requires 10–12+ years of enablement or training experience, strong cross-functional influence, analytical ability, and hands-on program delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Define Gusto's partner enablement methodology and establish frameworks, principles, and standards for consistency, quality, and scalability across partner segments and go-to-market programs.
  • Advise senior leadership on enablement investment, program design, and the conditions required for partners to activate, grow, and contribute to channel revenue targets.
  • Own accountability for partner enablement outcomes, including partner-sourced revenue contribution, activation rates, and program ROI.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment across Revenue, Revenue Operations, Product, and Marketing at the VP and Director level.
  • Design and deliver education programs, certification tracks, and just-in-time resources tailored to partners' professional needs.
  • Monitor industry, regulatory, and competitive trends and translate them into proactive enablement strategies.
  • Research and apply emerging AI tools and methodologies to accelerate program design, development, and delivery at scale.

Requirements

  • 10–12+ years of experience in partner enablement, sales enablement, or professional training.
  • Track record of designing and delivering enablement programs that improve partner activation, engagement, and revenue contribution.
  • Ability to lead learning initiatives end-to-end, from needs analysis through delivery and post-program evaluation.
  • Experience designing and facilitating training sessions for professional audiences.
  • Strong analytical, communication, presentation, stakeholder-influence, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Foundation in instructional and education design, with sound judgment in selecting modalities based on audience, speed, scale, and impact.
  • Hands-on experience with content creation, curation, and knowledge-management platforms.
  • Ability to operate with urgency and ambiguity, including conflict-management skills and composure in a fast-paced, partner-facing environment.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% annually for partner training events and industry conferences.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Cash compensation in Denver and Scottsdale: $129,000–$157,000 per year.
  • Cash compensation in San Francisco and New York: $154,000–$188,000 per year.
  • Full-time employees receive competitive base pay, benefits, and equity (RSUs).
  • Employees based in Denver, San Francisco, New York City, or Scottsdale are expected to work from the office approximately 2–3 days per week or more depending on the role.
  • A secure, reliable, and consistent internet connection is required when working from a non-office location.
