Chief of Staff, CRO

The Chief of Staff to the CRO serves as a strategic advisor and operational leader, coordinating executive planning, revenue initiatives, board communications, and cross-functional execution. The role requires 8–12 years of experience, strong analytics and executive communication skills, and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor and thought partner to the CRO and revenue leadership on strategy, initiatives, and organizational priorities.
  • Drive leadership operations, including executive staff meetings, QBRs, and strategic planning cycles.
  • Lead goal-setting and tracking across the global revenue organization.
  • Triage escalations and drive cross-functional resolution of complex business blockers and time-sensitive customer issues.
  • Act as the CRO’s proxy in reviewing account plans, preparing briefing materials, and managing customer and partner meetings.
  • Follow up on critical customer and partner interactions to drive business outcomes.
  • Serve as CRO Board Liaison; prepare board materials, investor updates, executive presentations, and organizational announcements.
  • Partner with the CEO’s Chief of Staff, Sales Strategy & Analytics, Field Operations, Finance, and People teams to drive alignment.
  • Build relationships with executives and senior leaders to achieve project objectives.
  • Identify delegation opportunities and optimize the CRO’s time allocation.

Requirements

  • 8–12 years of progressive experience in chief of staff, top-tier management consulting, corporate strategy, or revenue operations leadership roles at high-growth technology companies.
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional projects, influencing senior stakeholders, and delivering results in matrixed organizations.
  • Executive presence and confidence working with Board members, C-suite executives, and senior leaders.
  • Strong analytics and reporting capabilities, including translating data into actionable insights.
  • Advanced proficiency with Salesforce, business intelligence tools, and presentation software.
  • Experience building scalable processes and operating systems that improve organizational efficiency.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to shift priorities while managing multiple projects.
  • Strong collaboration, emotional intelligence, initiative, self-motivation, and bias toward action.
  • Exceptional written communication and comfort documenting in public and working asynchronously.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Ability to travel as needed to support the CRO.
