Responsibilities

  • Own Garner’s relationships with major national broker and consulting firms, serving as a trusted partner to practice leaders and subject-matter experts.
  • Define and execute business-development plans for a national portfolio, converting consultant relationships into distribution and firm-level data-licensing deals.
  • Orchestrate Sales, Product, Marketing, Client Success, and Operations resources around strategic partnerships.
  • Incorporate consultant insights into Garner’s go-to-market strategy.
  • Establish portfolio goals, contracting targets, timelines, closure-rate metrics, and investment priorities.
  • Reframe Garner’s value around each firm’s priorities as an educator and thought partner.
  • Generate and advance national business-development pipelines and close distribution opportunities.
  • Influence senior external and internal stakeholders and secure support for cross-functional initiatives.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in employee-benefits consulting, broker, or channel-alliances roles with national-firm scope.
  • Existing senior relationships across major broker and consulting firms.
  • Deep knowledge of the benefits-consulting and broker landscape.
  • Experience managing goals, metrics, tooling, contracting targets, timing, and closure rates at portfolio scale.
  • Proven ability to drive business development and close distribution with limited supervision.
  • Executive-level communication and cross-functional leadership skills.
  • Comfort working in a fast-moving, accountable environment.
  • Interest in using AI tools to improve work and outcomes.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Total salary range, inclusive of base and bonus: $350,000–$430,000.
