Engagement Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end enterprise customer deployment projects, ensuring alignment with Yubico’s strategic objectives.
• Advise customers on optimizing rollout strategies and applying deployment best practices.
• Support planning, organization, and management across all project lifecycle phases.
• Help customers develop deployment project plans and provide progress updates and reports to internal stakeholders.
• Translate customer requirements into business value and provide feedback to Customer Experience, Product, Engineering, and Solutions Engineering teams.
• Identify project risks and dependencies and recommend solutions to keep projects on track.
• Lead operational deployment workshops to assess customer readiness.
• Write custom deployment recommendation guides, best-practice documents, and white papers.
• Maintain accurate and accessible project documentation and artifacts.
• Stay current on Yubico products, security protocols, competitors, and industry trends.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in professional services, technical project management, or similar roles, preferably in a software or hardware technology company.
• Experience consulting with complex, multi-divisional, and geographically distributed customers.
• Experience with complex or large-scale technology deployments, product launches, or implementations.
• Proven project management skills, including managing multiple simultaneous priorities.
• Strong background in identity and access management, identity verification, cybersecurity, or authentication technologies.
• Experience in enterprise account management and cross-functional collaboration.
• Excellent oral communication and presentation skills for executive, business, and technical audiences.
• Strong writing skills, including short- and long-form documents and presentation decks.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, concise, actionable plans.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to travel up to 15% to customer sites or internal events.
• Native or conversational German and proficiency in English.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of security technologies and protocols including multi-factor authentication, single sign-on, VPN, RDP, OATH, SAML, OpenID, ADFS, FIDO/FIDO2, WebAuthn, CTAP/CTAP2, X.509, and Federal PKI.
• Cybersecurity or project management certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or PMP.
• Experience with identity providers including Microsoft, Okta, Google, Duo, and Ping.
• Experience with identity verification vendors such as HYPR and Nametag.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise deployments and system integration.
