Senior Manager, Revenue Accounting

Responsibilities
- Own the Order-to-Cash function end to end, including billing, collections, sales tax, MRR/ARR reporting and accounting.
- Co-lead the design and build-out of the Stripe billing engine and Chargebee migration, from architecture through implementation planning.
- Own ASC 606 revenue recognition policy, judgments, and treatment for consumption-based pricing and multi-year agreements.
- Partner with RevOps, Engineering, Product, Sales, and Deal Desk on CPQ, billing, pricing governance, contract review, and non-standard deal structures.
- Ensure Salesforce-to-Stripe-to-Snowflake data flows support accurate downstream reporting and clean reconciliations.
- Maintain revenue definitions, recognition matrices, discount authority policies, and related governance documentation.
- Lead the Order-to-Cash team, coach billing and collections staff, and own revenue journal entry accuracy during close.
- Serve as the primary auditor contact for revenue matters and communicate key judgments to the Controller and CFO.
Requirements
- 8+ years of accounting experience, including 5+ years in revenue accounting or revenue recognition within a SaaS, API, payments, or marketplace business.
- CPA required or strongly preferred.
- Hands-on ASC 606 experience with consumption pricing, minimum-guarantee accounting, and principal-versus-agent determinations for payment take-rate revenue.
- Experience with SSP allocation for bundled SKUs, contract modifications, and financing component analysis for multi-year agreements.
- Familiarity with Stripe, Chargebee, and Salesforce, including systems integration and process-gap analysis.
- Comfort working with SQL, data warehouses, big data, and evolving table structures; Snowflake experience or a similar platform.
- Experience coaching and mentoring team members in a scaling organization.
- Ability to operate autonomously in a lean finance team.
- Experience representing a company directly to auditors on revenue matters.

- Base salary: $151,500–$203,000 USD.
