About the role
Responsibilities
Lead the corporate financial planning and analysis process, including budgeting, forecasting, planning models and systems, Monthly/Quarterly Business Review cycles, and long-term planning.
Champion the Corporate FP&A process and systems roadmap, including enterprise-wide FP&A processes, cadences, and systems.
Support business development and capital markets activities, including warehouse financings, M&A, and capital raises.
Coordinate with Business Unit Finance to:
Develop and maintain financial models for decision-making and business performance insights.
Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reporting and analysis.
Conduct variance analysis and identify areas for improvement and cost savings.
Support business cases for new initiatives and investments.
Provide ad hoc financial analysis and support to senior leadership.
Collaborate with accounting to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Prepare materials for the board and investors.
Oversee one staff member, with additional team growth expected.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA preferred.
3+ years of FP&A experience and 7+ years of total experience, including investment banking, private equity, consulting, or corporate development.
Experience navigating and solving complex, unstructured challenges.
Strong analytical skills and ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain a strategic perspective.
Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven track record of driving financial performance and identifying improvement opportunities.
