Leads the design, operation, and scaling of financial data reconciliations across banking partners and internal systems. Requires 6+ years in complex fintech or financial-services data, advanced SQL and transformation-pipeline skills, payment-rail knowledge, and cross-functional leadership.

Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end reconciliations for products and funds flows, establishing standards for the team.
- Develop and maintain data transformations, enrichment logic, and matching rules across internal and external systems.
- Monitor and investigate reconciliation exceptions, lead root-cause analysis, and coordinate durable fixes with Product, Engineering, Finance, and banking partners.
- Build monitoring, alerting, and reporting for reconciliation risks, trends, and improvement opportunities.
- Define reconciliation requirements and technical specifications for new products and funds flows.
- Support month-end close and audit readiness through reconciliation analyses, summaries, and documentation.
- Shape the reconciliation control roadmap and lead cross-functional initiatives.
- Mentor and coach other analysts.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience with complex transactional and financial data in fintech or financial services, including reconciliation, settlement, payment operations, or accounting.
- Working knowledge of ACH, wire transfers, RTP, FedNow, Visa, and Mastercard, including transaction flows, clearing, settlement, returns, and exception handling.
- Advanced SQL skills and hands-on experience developing and maintaining data transformation pipelines, such as dbt.
- Strong analytical skills and experience resolving complex financial data discrepancies.
- Familiarity with enterprise reconciliation or matching tools such as BlackLine or similar platforms.
- Experience building monitoring or BI dashboards using tools such as Omni, Looker, or Tableau.
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and aligning technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience mentoring or developing other analysts.
- Experience supporting audits, regulatory reporting, or financial-control testing.
Compensation
- ATS salary range: 153,900–213,700.
- US employees in New York City, Los Angeles, Seattle, or the San Francisco Bay Area: $171,000–$213,700 USD.
- US employees outside those locations: $153,900–$192,300 USD.
- Canadian employees in any location: $161,600–$209,900 CAD.
- Compensation includes base salary, equity, and benefits.
