Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in a technical field such as Computer Science or Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience as a backend engineer.
- Strong expertise building microservices products with Java, Spring Framework, JPA, and Hibernate.
- Proficiency building cloud-native distributed systems.
- Generalist experience across backend engineering, DevOps, and cloud infrastructure.
- Ability to analyze and design complex software.
- Experience building scalable, fault-tolerant distributed systems.
- Experience building cloud-native software in the Kubernetes ecosystem and on hyperscalers such as AWS.
- Understanding of modern engineering practices, including Git strategy, CI/CD, and testing.
- Ability to learn quickly, solve problems, work independently, and collaborate effectively.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience building data pipelines with Databricks, ETL, and Apache Spark.
- Experience with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL.
