- Serve as a senior organizational leader and strategic partner to the Head of Engineering and Engineering Leadership Team.
- Shape how Engineering operates, makes decisions, and executes against critical goals.
- Own key operational rhythms and diagnose organizational friction.
- Design actionable plans for cross-functional execution and hand execution to accountable owners while tracking progress to completion.
- Translate company and technology strategy into organizational priorities, operating plans, and measurable outcomes.
- Improve organizational processes using modern tools and AI to reduce toil.
- Influence senior leaders, facilitate complex decisions, challenge assumptions constructively, and create stakeholder alignment.
- Turn unstructured challenges into clear, repeatable practices.
Requirements
- 12+ years of related professional experience.
- Direct experience as an engineer, engineering manager, or technical program leader inside a software organization.
- Experience serving as a strategic partner or Chief of Staff to a CTO, Head of Engineering, VP of Engineering, or other senior technical executive.
- Proven ability to diagnose organizational or operational problems, design plans, and track execution.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience operating in fast-moving environments with high adaptability and resourcefulness.
- Ability to move between strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
- Personal fluency with AI tools and experience applying AI to improve an organizational process.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in a Chief of Staff, Engineering Operations, or similar role reporting to a senior technical executive.

Compensation and Benefits
- ATS-listed salary range: $225000-$281000.
