Manager, Enterprise Application Engineering
Leads and builds a Dublin-based team responsible for internal applications, enterprise integrations, and AI enablement. Requires 7+ years of hands-on enterprise engineering, 2+ years of management, modern programming expertise, and production experience with APIs, SaaS systems, and AI agents.

Responsibilities
- Hire, onboard, manage, and develop a Dublin-based team of Enterprise Application Engineers and AI Enablement Engineers.
- Stay hands-on by designing systems, reviewing code, writing integrations, and resolving production issues.
- Own the internal application layer, including custom applications, services, automations, reliability, security posture, and lifecycle across business platforms.
- Drive AI enablement by building agents, MCP servers, internal AI tooling, evaluation practices, guardrails, and enablement programs.
- Partner with Finance, People, GTM, Marketing, Customer Experience, Legal, and Workplace stakeholders to scope and sequence engineering work.
- Define standards for writing, testing, deploying, documenting, and monitoring systems.
- Provide senior BizTech presence in Dublin and coordinate with US stakeholders.
- Make build-versus-buy decisions involving configuration, vendors, integrations, and custom code.
Requirements
- 7+ years of hands-on enterprise application, integration, or internal platform engineering experience.
- At least 2 years of engineering management experience.
- Hands-on depth in Python, TypeScript, Go, or a similar modern language.
- Experience designing and operating API-based integrations between business systems.
- Working knowledge of CRM, HRIS, ERP, identity, marketing automation, and support/CX platforms.
- Experience applying LLMs or AI agents to production problems, including evaluation and guardrails.
- Track record of hiring and developing engineers and raising a team’s technical bar.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth, global environment.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience establishing a Business Technology, internal tools, or enterprise engineering function in a new office or region.
- Experience at a high-growth B2B SaaS company scaling beyond 2,000 employees.
- Experience with MCP, agent orchestration frameworks, LLM gateways, or evaluation tooling.
- Daily experience with Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex.
- Experience with Workato or other enterprise iPaaS platforms and event-driven integrations.
- Exposure to legal, professional services, or another regulated industry.
