Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end go-to-market and lifecycle marketing strategy for Okta Device Access, including positioning, messaging, launches, field readiness, customer adoption, and expansion.
- Develop differentiated narratives for securing device sign-in and enabling seamless, passwordless, phishing-resistant access from devices to applications.
- Translate identity, authentication, device-security, and operating-system integration capabilities into customer value propositions, use cases, and field plays.
- Lead cross-functional launch planning and execution, including launch strategy, sales and partner enablement, customer communications, web and content strategy, internal readiness, and post-launch measurement.
- Build adoption programs for phishing-resistant access and FastPass, addressing deployment and activation friction.
- Partner with Product and Engineering on customer insights, product and GTM decisions, roadmap communications, commercialization, and packaging.
- Enable Sales, Sales Engineering, Customer Success, Support, and partners with messaging, tools, and programs for successful deployments.
- Shape the device-access narrative for adjacent workforce and frontline-worker needs.
- Define and report success metrics covering adoption, activation, field readiness, pipeline influence, launch performance, and customer outcomes.
Requirements
- 8+ years of B2B enterprise product marketing experience, preferably in cybersecurity, identity, endpoint management, enterprise software, or a related technical category.
- Experience owning GTM strategy for complex technical products from positioning and launches through field enablement and sustained customer adoption.
- Ability to communicate credibly with security, identity, IT, and endpoint-management audiences.
- Exceptional storytelling and executive communication skills.
- Proven cross-functional leadership with Product, Engineering, Sales, Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, Digital, Pricing, and partner teams.
- Strong analytical orientation and experience using customer insight and performance data to improve adoption.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with identity and access management, authentication, passwordless or phishing-resistant access, endpoint security, device posture, zero trust, MDM/UEM, or device-aware access.
- Experience marketing Windows or macOS enterprise capabilities.
- Experience building adoption motions involving deployment, administrator workflows, and end-user change management.
- Experience marketing products integrated with endpoint-management or security ecosystems.
Compensation
- United States annual base salary ranges: $165,000–$226,000 for the San Francisco Bay Area and $147,000–$202,000 for California excluding the San Francisco Bay Area, Colorado, Illinois, New York, and Washington.
- Canada annual base salary range: $128,000–$176,000 CAD.
- Compensation may also include equity, bonus, and benefits.
