Head of Grower Sales, Billing

Leads a regional team of product sales executives responsible for expanding and retaining Stripe Billing customers, driving revenue, and executing go-to-market strategy. Requires extensive sales leadership and hyper-growth SaaS experience, strong executive relationships, and the ability to navigate complex technical and commercial negotiations.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, develop, and lead a team of product sales executives focused on expansion and retention of large Billing users.
  • Create go-to-market plans and customer solutions with Product, Sales, Finance, and Marketing stakeholders.
  • Manage day-to-day operations and performance against key sales metrics.
  • Drive revenue, attach rates, and new client acquisition.
  • Coach the team in consultative and solution-based selling throughout the sales cycle.
  • Lead strategic opportunities, executive relationships, and customer acquisition efforts.
  • Support individual development and career growth of direct reports.
  • Align plans with company direction and provide clarity and context.
  • Structure, execute, and measure product sales campaigns and GTM initiatives.
  • Analyze results, recommend actions, and improve programs, processes, and customer engagement models.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of sales leadership experience launching and growing high-functioning sales teams or products.
  • 15+ years of experience in hyper-growth SaaS environments across the AMER region.
  • Industry experience in finance, revenue management, financial services, or similar software services.
  • Ability to drive business results independently.
  • Ability to understand complex technical requirements and craft solutions across multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Experience leading complex negotiations involving bespoke agreements with startup, SMB, and Commercial businesses.
  • Ability to engage in business-level and technical conversations with executives and customers.
  • Experience building strategic relationships with CEOs, CFOs, CTOs, and other senior stakeholders.
  • Organized, self-starting approach and willingness to work hands-on.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience selling products requiring deep product and technical knowledge, particularly to AI industry users.
  • Experience growing regional sales teams across North America, Canada, and Latin America.
