Requirements
- 10+ years of software development, consulting, or support experience, preferably across multiple industries or verticals.
- Competence in at least one of: Java, C#, Python, Node.js (JavaScript), Ruby, or Go.
- Experience with databases such as MongoDB, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with Linux diagnostics and tuning; Windows tuning knowledge is a plus.
- Familiarity with enterprise-scale software architectures, application development methodologies, and software deployment and operations.
- Excellent analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
- Motivation for a role combining deep technical expertise with customer management.
- Confidence speaking and presenting in collaborative customer settings.
- Comfort with frequent short trips to customer sites during the working week, up to 15% travel.
- Fluency in French and English.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to customer implementations across application lifecycle phases, including portfolio assessment, application planning and design, deployment architectures, development and build, integration and release configuration, system testing, production operations, application optimization, and best-practices adoption.
- Deliver classroom-based training for architects, developers, and operations professionals.
- Collaborate with consulting engineers, project managers, and account teams as part of a wider delivery team.
- Build a reputation as a trusted advisor for MongoDB and its customers.
- Partner with Product and Engineering teams to influence the MongoDB product roadmap.
