Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a product-led growth strategy for MongoDB Community Edition and MongoDB Atlas.
- Translate strategy into testable hypotheses, measurable growth outcomes, and a prioritized experimentation roadmap.
- Identify opportunities across user segments, onboarding, activation, time-to-value, product education, adoption, retention, expansion, and sales handoffs.
- Own growth measurement and experimentation frameworks using customer insights, usage data, rapid testing, and structured learning loops.
- Mentor and guide Product Managers while fostering strategic thinking, innovation, and problem-solving.
- Partner with Engineering, Design, Marketing, Sales, Finance, and go-to-market teams on growth initiatives, product and GTM strategy, packaging, pricing, and monetization.
- Align technical roadmaps, resource allocation, and cross-product investments with growth outcomes.
- Build consensus around cross-product growth opportunities and influence executive stakeholders through business reviews.
- Conduct customer and developer research and translate feedback, usage insights, and market signals into product opportunities.
Requirements
- 10+ years of Product Management experience, including 4+ years leading Product-Led Growth, Growth Product, or adjacent self-service growth motions at SaaS, cloud, or developer-centric companies.
- Strong understanding of software engineering concepts and developer audiences.
- Background in engineering, such as computer science, electrical engineering, or software engineering.
- Deep understanding of product-led growth across acquisition, onboarding, activation, retention, expansion, and monetization.
- Experience with self-service, freemium, subscription, or consumption-based products.
- Track record of developing innovative growth strategies and expanding market reach.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams, develop team members, and align diverse stakeholders.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Data-driven and business-minded approach to growth metrics, funnel and usage analysis, experimentation, and product decisions.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Experience building programmatic product experiences for developer-centric requirements, including IAM, integrations, and automation use cases.
- Experience partnering with UI/UX design and/or user research teams.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with open-source software.
- Familiarity with AI/ML products or cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure.
- Comfort using AI-native tools and workflows for research, experimentation, prototyping, and product decisions.
Compensation
- U.S. base salary: $162,000–$319,000 USD annually.
