Responsibilities
- Define the long-term product vision and short-term roadmap for Runpod’s AI cloud product suite, including serverless endpoints, GPU instances, foundational AI services, developer APIs, and user experience.
- Act as the voice of ML engineers, AI startups, and enterprise customers by uncovering friction, gathering requirements, and validating concepts.
- Hire, mentor, and develop product managers, UI/UX designers, and technical writers.
- Partner with infrastructure and engineering leadership to ensure roadmaps are feasible, reliable, and delivered on time.
- Translate complex infrastructure capabilities, including HPC networks and storage engines, into intuitive developer experiences.
- Define compute, storage, and serverless pricing and packaging with Marketing and Sales.
- Guide product marketing on positioning and launches.
- Establish metrics-driven prioritization using product analytics, churn data, and customer feedback.
- Champion the console, CLI, APIs, and SDKs to improve developer experience and time-to-value.
Requirements
- 7+ years of product management experience, including 3+ years managing product managers and designers in a hyper-growth environment.
- Deep experience building SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, or developer-facing products.
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, GPUs, Kubernetes, and AI/ML workflows.
- Technical fluency in backend architectures, API design, and distributed systems.
- Demonstrated ability to turn complex, ambiguous problems into successful products with measurable business outcomes.
- Experience building culture and alignment across distributed technical and commercial teams.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication and product storytelling skills.
- Successful completion of a background check.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience launching products for MLOps, model training, serverless inference, or LLM deployment.
- Public presence or active engagement in AI/ML and open-source developer communities.
- Prior experience as a software engineer, ML engineer, or data scientist.
Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary: $225,000–$325,000 annually.
