Owns new-business and expansion sales for Stripe’s platform payments offering, managing enterprise accounts and complex consultative sales cycles. The role requires 5+ years of technical technology sales experience, strong executive relationship-building, analytical skills, and the ability to lead multi-party negotiations.

Responsibilities
- Manage and nurture a named account list, developing plans to win and expand business with upper-middle-market and enterprise companies.
- Build relationships with C-level and executive stakeholders, including CTO, COO, and CFO contacts.
- Develop outbound strategies and own the full sales cycle from lead to close.
- Create partnerships between Stripe and software platforms by articulating how online commerce infrastructure can create competitive advantage.
- Lead complex product workshops, financial analyses, negotiations, and bespoke commercial agreements.
- Contribute to platform partnership strategy, repeatable processes, scaled engagement models, sales process improvements, value propositions, tools, and assets.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Finance, and company leaders to support customer engagements and product strategy.
- Maintain CRM hygiene, use sales forecasting metrics, and communicate forecasts succinctly.
Requirements
- 5+ years of sales experience, preferably selling a technical product, with a record of top performance.
- Extensive experience directly selling technology products or services, preferably at an API-first company.
- Proven ability to lead complex, consultative, multi-party sales from inception through close.
- Ability to build trust with decision-makers across technology and finance organizations.
- Ability to understand complex technical problems and map Stripe solutions to them.
- Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to lead complex negotiations involving bespoke commercial agreements.
- Ability to work effectively in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment.
- Strong interest in technology and understanding of the technology space.
- CRM hygiene and sales forecasting experience.

- Payments experience.
- Experience with financial technology infrastructure or interest in learning about it.
- Experience selling API-first products.
