Regional Account Executive
Owns the full mid-market and enterprise sales cycle for new business across Malaysia, Singapore, and Hong Kong from a Sydney-based team. The role requires 5+ years of quota-carrying AE experience, SaaS expertise, outbound pipeline generation, and complex deal-closing ability.

Responsibilities
- Own new-business sales across Malaysia, Singapore, and Hong Kong.
- Build and manage a healthy pipeline across Mid-Market and Enterprise accounts.
- Generate and progress pipeline through balanced inbound and outbound activity.
- Source at least 40% of qualified pipeline value through outbound activity, measured quarterly.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting and discovery through negotiation and close.
- Develop tailored product demonstrations and business cases based on customer needs.
- Build relationships with senior commercial, customer experience, and technology stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate forecasts, CRM hygiene, and clear visibility of revenue performance.
- Develop strong product knowledge and communicate the value of Fin and Intercom’s broader platform.
- Represent the customer voice to Marketing, Product, Customer Success, and other internal teams.
- Contribute to a high-performing sales culture through collaboration, knowledge sharing, and peer support.
Requirements
- 5+ years of quota-carrying Account Executive experience, including at least 3 years selling SaaS.
- Fluent spoken English and strong written English.
- Previous experience working in Malaysia, Singapore, and Hong Kong through outbound activity and partnerships.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding new-business targets.
- Success closing complex, multi-stakeholder Mid-Market and Enterprise deals.
- Ability to source at least 40% of qualified pipeline value through outbound prospecting.
- Strong discovery, consultative selling, value-selling, negotiation, forecasting, and closing skills.
- Experience engaging senior commercial, customer experience, or technology stakeholders.
- Ability to adapt sales approaches across different customer and market contexts.
- Commercial curiosity, resilience, intellectual curiosity, and a strong sense of ownership.
Success Measures
- Achievement of new-business quota and revenue targets.
- At least 40% of qualified pipeline value sourced through outbound activity each quarter.
- Consistent creation and progression of high-quality Mid-Market and Enterprise opportunities.
- Forecast accuracy and disciplined CRM management.
- Successful engagement and relationship development with senior customer stakeholders.
- Positive contribution to the wider APAC sales team and customer feedback loop.
