Staff Product Manager, Consumer Mobile

200k – 233kNew York, NYSan Francisco, CASeattle, WAHybrid8+ YOE
Summary

As Staff Product Manager, Consumer Mobile, you will own the mobile experience for clients, focusing on building an AI-powered app that strengthens client-provider relationships and supports mental health goals. You will lead 0->1 product development, drive mobile app adoption, and partner with engineering, design, data, and clinical teams.

About the role

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Own the strategy and roadmap for Grow’s consumer mobile experience, defining how clients coordinate care and progress on their mental health goals between therapy sessions.
  • Build a consumer-grade mobile app experience that clients return to regularly, with a focus on quality, trust, and engagement.
  • Drive mobile app adoption and engagement, including helping shape Grow’s expansion across both iOS and Android.
  • Lead 0→1 product development for new mobile experiences, from identifying unmet user needs through launch, iteration, and scale.
  • Develop AI-powered product experiences within the mobile app, balancing usefulness, safety, and user trust in a sensitive, high-impact domain.
  • Partner closely with mobile and backend engineering, product design, data science, and other PMs on the pillar to rapidly test, learn, and iterate.
  • Work cross-functionally with Clinical teams to ensure product decisions reflect both user needs and the realities of delivering high-quality care.
  • Help define how the mobile app should complement and work in tandem with Grow’s web experience, contributing to broader product and platform strategy.

You’ll Be a Good Fit If:

  • Consumer product craft: 8+ years in product management with ownership of consumer-facing experiences. Proven ability to build products users return to, with strong instincts for UX, quality, and behavior design, and translating insights into intuitive experiences.
  • Mobile product expertise: Experience owning mobile products across iOS and Android, with a strong point of view on what makes mobile experiences intuitive, engaging, and high quality.
  • 0→1 mindset: You’ve built products or major product surfaces from scratch, and are energized by ambiguity, fast learning cycles, and shaping direction rather than optimizing an existing funnel.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: You work exceptionally well with engineering, design, data, and domain experts, and can bring people together around a clear product vision.
  • Strategic thinking: You can connect day-to-day execution to long-term company goals, making thoughtful tradeoffs between speed, quality, and scale.
  • AI-native curiosity: Experience building AI-powered products is a plus, especially if you’ve thought deeply about trust, usefulness, and real user value.
  • Startup scrappiness: You thrive in fast-moving environments and are comfortable rolling up your sleeves while maintaining a high bar for craft and outcomes.

Base Compensation:

The base compensation range for this position is $200,000–$233,000 USD Annually.

Full Time Employee Benefits:

  • Comprehensive Health Coverage: Medical, dental, and vision insurance, plus life and disability coverage.
  • Parental Leave & Family Support: Up to 18 weeks paid leave and a new child stipend.
  • Financial Wellness: 401(k) program and equity opportunities.
  • Meals & Home Office Support: Stipends for home office setup and ongoing funds for meals, with tailored perks for both remote and in-office employees.
  • Time Off to Recharge: Flexible PTO, 12 paid holidays, and a full winter break week.
  • Wellness & Development: Annual stipends to put towards personal & professional growth.
  • Mental & Physical Health Support: No-cost access to therapy through the Grow platform, weekly flexible hours for self-care (“Mental Health Mornings/Afternoons”) and memberships to leading wellness apps (such as One Medical, Headspace, and Talkspace).
  • Extra Perks: Pet insurance discounts, commuter benefits, and global travel assistance.
