About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Finance Pod, collaborating with Design, Engineers, Product Managers, Finance, and Sales stakeholders to define problems, uncover user needs, and identify opportunities.

  • Translate complex user and business problems into crisp user stories and acceptance criteria; manage and prioritize the team backlog; lead agile ceremonies.
  • Partner with Engineering during implementation to ensure high-quality delivery and high velocity; make tradeoff decisions.
  • Own the financial accuracy and integrity of Cash Application and DRM from payment matching and remittance parsing to deduction validation, GL reconciliation, and clean export back to systems like NetSuite and QuickBooks.

  • Customer-first mindset; skilled at discovery (interviews, surveys, shadowing) and translating insights into decisions and experiments.
  • Ownership mindset and bias for action to make trade-offs, surface risks early, and unblock teams.
  • Growth mindset; seek feedback, elevate team processes, and continuously improve how products are built.
