About the role

What You’ll Do

  • Own the PracticeTek Pay product strategy and roadmap: Define and prioritize embedded payment capabilities that improve provider cash flow, patient checkout, onboarding, reconciliation, reporting, and operational efficiency across PracticeTek brands.
  • Drive the full product lifecycle for payments initiatives: Lead discovery, requirements, prioritization, delivery, launch readiness, and post-launch iteration in partnership with engineering, design, QA, payment operations, sales, onboarding, support, marketing, and customer success.
  • Serve as the product expert for partners and workflows: Partner with internal teams and external vendors, including Adyen, Zentact, Salesforce, and other third-party providers to support cross-functional outcomes.

How Success is Measured

  • PracticeTek Pay roadmap execution: Delivers prioritized payments roadmap commitments on time, with clear business cases, requirements, stakeholder alignment, launch plans, and measurable post-launch outcomes.
  • Payments adoption and activation: Improves merchant onboarding completion, activation rates, payment feature adoption, and successful processing volume against agreed targets.
  • Operational efficiency and issue reduction: Reduces payment-related escalations, onboarding friction, reconciliation gaps, underwriting delays, and repeat support issues through better product workflows, documentation, and integrations.
  • Revenue and margin optimization: Identifies and executes opportunities to improve payments revenue, interchange performance, cost visibility, transaction routing, and partner performance.
  • Stakeholder and customer impact: Builds strong feedback loops with practitioners, internal teams, and third-party partners, translating insights into product improvements that make payments simpler, faster, and more reliable.

  • Preferred analytical and technical fluency, including comfort with data analysis, AI-enabled product requirements, and modern tools such as ChatGPT/Codex, Snowflake/Cortex, Claude, or similar platforms.
