Drive new logo acquisition for credit intelligence platform targeting hedge funds, asset managers, investment banks, and CLO managers. Manage full sales cycle from prospecting to close in a hybrid NYC office.
About the role
New Business responsibilities
- Establish business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analyzing sales options
- Manage all facets of the sales cycle to exceed annual targets including pitching, demoing, negotiating and closing deals
- Identify competitive advantages by understanding how current subscribers leverage our products
- Interface with prospects and communicate the value of all Octus products
What we look for
- 2+ years experience in a quota-carrying full-cycle new business / new logos sales role, with demonstrated ability to hit and exceed targets
- Experience selling financial research, analytics or data (preferably credit) to the buyside and/or sell side
- Organized, detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and respond quickly; ability to keep on top of all requirements with multiple ongoing workstreams
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment
Compensation
- Salary range: $110,000 - $135,000, plus monthly commission
